This great, 2nd floor unit is under new ownership as of December 2017. Located in Sea Shells of Sanibel's popular building two, this lovely unit is in one of the closest buildings to both the bike path and the private path leading to Sanibel beach. New and updated furnishings offer a perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom with twin beds in the guest room, and we provide the linens and towels. All mattresses and bedding are new. Additionally, there is a queen sleeper in the living room. The kitchen has new appliances, granite countertops and fully equipped. There is ceramic tile flooring throughout the condo, ceiling fans and all new windows. Our unit also offers Wi-Fi, cable TV and central air. For your convenience, we provide the beach chairs, cart, umbrella, and beach towels. Sea Shells is a quiet complex that offers a heated swimming pool, tennis/pickle ball court (free rackets in office for use), shuffleboard, gas grills, bike rentals and free use of the laundry facility. Unit 11 is located a short drive from some of the best dining and shops. A great value because its recent updates, amenities, and location. Whether you enjoy swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, shelling at the Sea Shell Capital of the World, biking or just enjoying the beautiful sunsets, Sanibel is right for you!
Reservation Policies
- Rates shown do not include sales tax of 6.5%, lodging tax of 5%, a $25.00 booking fee, and cleaning fee (type A - $90, type B - $85.)
- Rates include up to 6 persons per unit.
- There is a 10% discount for stays of 4 weeks or more.
- Deposit required to confirm your rental: Reservation under $5000 is $200 deposit/over $5000 is $500 deposit.
- A minimum 60 days notice of cancellation is required to receive a full refund of the amount paid. A $40 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations made 30-59 days prior to arrival. There is no refund for cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival.
- Payment in full is due by cash, check or credit card 30 days prior to arrival. This payment will be automatically charged to your credit card if we have not received your payment by check or cash.
- There are no refunds for early checkout.
- A Security/Damage Deposit is required on or before arrival. This requirement can be met by providing a credit card in lieu of a cash Security/Damage Deposit.
- Rate chart subject to change without notice. Rate is confirmed once a deposit is received and the Vacation Rental Agreement has been issued.
- Check-In after 3 PM; Check-Out before 10 AM.
- All keys are distributed from the office located at 2840 West Gulf Drive. Office hours are 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Saturday; Closed on Sunday.
- A $35.00 handling charge will be applied for any checks returned due to insufficient funds.

- CHECK-IN AND KEY PICK UP: All keys are distributed from the office located at 2840 West Gulf Drive. Turn right on Periwinkle Way after coming over the causeway and proceed to the intersection of Periwinkle and Tarpon Bay Road. Turn left onto Tarpon Bay Road, proceed to the next intersection (Tarpon Bay Road and West Gulf Drive). We are ½ mile from the Tarpon Bay intersection on the right.Office hours are 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Saturday; Closed on Sunday. Please contact the office if you expect to arrive outside these hours to arrange for key pickup.
- CAUSEWAY TOLLS: Sanibel is an island accessible only by car via the causeway or by boat. A toll booth is located on the mainland side of the causeway. The $6.00 toll is charged for all traffic entering the island; there is no toll when leaving Sanibel.
- FURNISHINGS: Sea Shells condominiums are individually owned and decorated. Although Sea Shells requires minimum standards, the style, quality, and color schemes of the properties will vary according to the individual owner’s preference.
- MAIL: Please have mail addressed to you in care of Sea Shells of Sanibel. Your mail can be picked up at the check-in office.
- SITE AND UNIT MAINTENANCE: From time to time, repairs and maintenance are required. We will make every effort to minimize the inconvenience such repairs may cause.
- STARTER PAKS: Sea Shells provides basic supplies to start off your vacation: one roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet tissue, two bars of soap, and automatic dishwashing detergent. Trash bags are placed in the kitchen and bath wastebaskets. You can purchase supplies for the remainder of your vacation at either of the two grocery stores on Sanibel, Jerry’s or Baileys.
- SUBSTITUTION OF ACCOMMODATIONS: Unforeseen circumstances may cause your confirmed unit to be unavailable. Sea Shells of Sanibel reserves the right to substitute units at Sea Shells. Any rate difference is subject to your approval.
- STUDENT GROUPS /MINORS: Persons under 21 unaccompanied by a parent or guardian will not be permitted to register. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of all monies paid.
- TELEPHONES: No phone in unit.
- TENNIS: Tennis rackets and tennis balls are available in the office/lobby.
- KEYS: All keys must be returned to the office – keys not returned will incur a $10 replacement charge.
